Turnpike Five Setup

If you are setting up a Demon account with Turnpike clickhere.
If you are installing Turnpike for the first time clickhere.

This configuration guide will help you to configure Turnpike 5 to work with a Demon Internet Connection. After installing the program a number of configuration screens will be displayed.

This is the Welcome screen, read it carefully.
Click Next

If you do not have a Demon account but want to create an account with Demon:
Choose I would like an account with Demon. Now clickhere.

If you already have a Demon account choose I already have a Demon account
Click Next

I already have a Demon account:
Enter your Demon hostname into the top text box.
Enter your Login Password into the second text box.
If you have a domain then enter the domain Name into the last text box.
Click Next

Enter your full name in the first text box.
Enter your username in the second text box.

Firstly select your modem from the drop down list,
then select your Point of Presence or access number. In the example, we have used the Green Romp 0845 2120666.

Click Next

Click Continue

The first screen to be displayed is the Hints and Tips screen,
if you do not want the Hints and Tips screen loading each time, untick the check box at the bottom of the dialog.
Click Close

Clicking on the Connect button should connect you to Demon.
It will start downloading your mail and news automatically.

To disconnect, click on the telephone icon with a red arrow pointing South.
