Equipment rack

THUS will supply, install and maintain the requested number of equipment racks. A minimum commitment of 1 rack applies.

Standard 19" rack, 47U capacity.

Front and rear access with lockable doors. Barrel type lock with pin code access.

Power

2 x 8 way IEC power rails per rack supplying aggregate 10 amps per rack, of 220/240V AC.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS): multiple 80-200kVA UPS units in N+1 configuration, providing autonomous power of minimum 10 minutes.
Multiple diesel generators all with 3-day bulk fuel storage tank.

Connectivity

THUS will provide fully managed Internet connectivity at speeds ranging from 2Mbps to 100 Mbps. A minimum commitment of 2Mbps applies.

THUS will supply, install and manage the resilient 100Mbps Ethernet connectivity between your rack and THUS's Internet switch.
1U Ethernet patch panel with 2 active sockets providing dual, standard RJ45, Ethernet connections into THUS's Internet switch.

Structured Cat-5 cabling and Cat-5 patch cords will be used to connect your racks to THUS's Internet switch.

IP Addressing/Secondary DNS

You will be assigned 1 IP address per piece of equipment housed in your rack(s). Additional IP's may be assigned upon request.

THUS will offer Secondary DNS support for up to 5 domains free of charge. The benefit of having Secondary DNS servers is that if one DNS server goes off-line because of maintenance or outage, the other server will continue managing requests for your domain names. Please note it will be your responsibility to register and renew your domain names.

Hosting Centre Access

You will be able to access your equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Included in your cost are 4 hours of supervised access per month. Additional access hours and access outside of normal working hours are available upon request, subject to additional charges.
