The tables below show expected call charges from your telephone service provider when using Demon dial-up. Standard Dial-up numbers are also available to Premier Connect, Premier Connect Plus and Business ISDN customers. Additional Special Service numbers shown further down this page are available to all these customers. Prices are per minute and include VAT.

Tip for using Demon dial-up on phone lines with CPS (Carrier Pre-Select) service.
BT exchange line customers can place '1280' immediately before 0844 099 XXXX or any of the 0845 212 XXXX Special service numbers shown down this page. Calls then default to BT and are billed alongside BT line rental. Customers then have ability to receive a 20% Best Friend Discount and use any inclusive call allowance which may be included within their BT line rental package.

* "Friends and Family" (10%) or "Best friend" (20%) discount is applied to call charges when customer correctly registers number with BT.
** The term "0p" describes calls to which BT applies a 100% discount. To qualify for this BT Surftime subscription must have been obtained direct from BT and maintained since before 1st July 2005 by following the instructions here. Please note BT will withdraw this scheme and apply call charges from 31st March 2007.

Please note the following
- BT and Telewest define evenings as 6 pm to 6 am and weekends as midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Most other operators apply the evening call price over longer hours – from 6 pm to 8 am.
- Most operators have a minimum charge per call, e.g. from 1st April 2006 BT charges 5.4p minimum call charge.
- BT and THUS rates valid as at 1st July 2005.
- Telewest and NTL rates shown were valid 28th February 2005.
