Equipment requirements

Home comes with a BT SIN346* compatible ADSL Modem to connect your computer/computers to the broadband enabled phone line, complete with appropriate connectivity software and two microfilter/splitters.

You will need to use an ADSL filter/splitter on every phone extension in your premises, so if you have more than two extensions, you will need to order additional microfilters. These stop high frequency ADSL being audible on the telephone service once you have fitted your ADSL equipment.

The Alcatel SpeedTouch 330 modem supplied with this product is compatible with the following operating systems:

Microsoft Windows 98 / 98 SE

Windows ME

Windows 2000

Windows XP

Mac OS 8,9 and OS X

Microsoft Windows NT is not supported. If you are using Microsoft Windows NT and have an Ethernet connection available, it is recommended that you instead order either Demon Express Solo and connect an Ethernet-based ADSL modem or buy Demon Express Plus or Pro.
