Managed Router Configuration Changes

The following list represents the changes that are available for the managed router service.  Customers will be restricted to two configuration changes per month where necessary.

  • NAT / non-NAT
  • IP Allocation change
  • SMTP port forwarding
  • WWW port forwarding
  • IOS update (if required to resolve technical issue or security risk)
  • Basic Access Control List changes
  • DHCP
  • Static Routes
  • SNMP
  • Duplex settings for the Ethernet interface

 

You should provide the Customer Support Centre (CSC), available on 0845 272 0041, with the following details in order to proceed with the required change:

  • Name and authorised customer contact details
  • Customer login details
  • Account number
  • Security phrase / codeword

 

Thereafter the CSC will require you to follow up the call with an email to: changerequest@demon.net detail the configuration changes required.  THUS will not be held responsible for any configuration errors carried out due to customer inaccuracies on the email request.
