The default setting refers to the URL accessed if the user clicks on an undefined area.

The nosearch setting is used when the client doesn't support image-maps, and is a non-standard option which is not used by many utilities used for the creation of maps. Should you wish to include this setting, you are likely to need to add it in by hand.
