The following pages contain useful information to assist you when transferring your existing domain name to Demon. Prior to transferring your domain name to Demon, please be advised of the following recommendations:

• You should place your domain name hosting order with Demon before initiating a transfer of your domain name.

• You should advise your current domain hosting provider to reduce the Time-to-Live (TTL) values of the DNS they are presently serving for your domain name.

• You should supply Demon with instructions regarding the DNS you require to be served.

• Failure to follow this advice could lead to problems with your DNS, which could result in the failure of e-mail delivery, your web site becoming inaccessible, etc.
