Image & Text Positioning:

To get the perfect positioning of your text and images, follow these simple steps.

To position text and pictures.

Step 1 - Select the text or image you want to position on the page.

Step 2 - Click Format on the Menu bar and select Position. The Position dialog box appears.
Note: If the Position option isn't available in the Format menu, you will need to change your Compatibility settings. Refer to Browser compatibility. You will find this under the Tools > Page Options and click on the tab marked Compatibility.

Step 3 - Choose a position for the object under Positioning style.

Step 4 - Choose how you want text and other page elements to wrap around the object.

Step 5 - Click Ok.

Note:

  • position one object relative to a another.
  • position an object in an absolute spot (at an exact position on the page).
  • None, do not use positioning.
