Unmetered dial-up access

BT is withdrawing its BT SurfTime portfolio with effect from 31 March 2007, and as a result, we will be unable to continue to offer unmetered dial up for Demon Standard dial-up, Premier Connect Plus, Business ISDN, Super Showroom and NDU products.

Although subscriptions to Demon dial-up products will continue, the monthly subscriptions for the BT portion of the unmetered solution will no longer be available. Instead, usage based call charges will appear on your BT bill from 31 March 2007.

These changes will only affect you if you use a BT SurfTime package to avoid call charges to the Demon 0844 041 numbers. If you have not subscribed to the BT SurfTime package, your service will not change.

Demon Dial-up customers will be able to continue to use a Demon SurfTime number, as before, and get low call charges: 0.5p per minute at weekends or 0.6p per minute on weekday evenings. If you make a reasonably high number of Internet Access calls per month, broadband will now be a better value product for you.

Please be aware that broadband provisioning can take up to 10 days so to avoid any disruption to your Internet Access, orders should be placed by mid-March 2007.

If you would like to take advantage of the faster speeds and fixed costs of the Demon Broadband service, or for more details about BT's service withdrawal, please visit our website <http://www.demon.net/surftime> .
