For new customers
Following our recent announcement about the introduction our new Microsoft email service we’d like to remind you of the key benefits:
* Microsoft Outlook Web Access
* Email is stored remotely and can be accessesed from multiple clients using IMAP

* Fully resilient platform providing greater stability and performanceIf you’re thinking of purchasing Demon Broadband you’ll get this new email service for free!
For existing customers
IMPORTANT – If you currently use Demon email then we’ll be contacting you soon to confirm when we’ll be migrating your service, but please read the important information below to ensure you can continue to use Demon email.
Firstly, please ensure that you’re able to receive emails to postmaster@yourhostname.demon.co.uk, as we will use this address to communicate with you regarding the essential information that you will need to continue to use your Demon email service, this will include the date that your service will be migrated. If you are unsure how to access this email address or configure it for your email client, please contact Customer Services.
Secondly, if your domain is hosted by Demon we will automatically update your mail configuration for you – your Domain Name Service record (DNS).
Thirdly, please be aware that configuration changes will only be necessary if you use any of the services listed below. Detailed information regarding any required configuration changes will be communicated to you nearer the time of your migration date. To allow you time to arrange any IT support you may need to make the necessary changes, we will give you a minimum of 7 days notice before we migrate your service.
For non-Demon hosted domains
If your Domain name is not hosted by Demon you will need to contact your Domain provider to make the necessary DNS changes if you use any of the following:
* Sender Policy Framework (SPF)
* Mail Exchange (MX) records
