Features
Access your equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week with unrestricted access time during normal working hours. Additional access hours and access outside of normal working hours are available upon request, subject to additional charges.
Once you have performed your remote data backup, our engineers will remove the tapes, label them accordingly and store them in a fireproof safe.
Should equipment intervention become necessary and you are unable to attend on-site, we can provide basic engineering support performed by our skilled on-site staff. The service is limited to non-technical assistance and is performed according to your strict instructions.
We will supply, install and maintain the requested number of equipment racks. A minimum commitment of 1 rack applies:
Standard lockable 19" racks, 47U capacity
Front and rear access with lockable doors, access via unique PIN code
2 x 8 way IEC power rails per rack supplying aggregate 10 amps per rack of 220/240V AC
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with multiple 80-200kVA UPS units in N+1 configuration, providing autonomous power of minimum 10 minutes.
Backup power is supplied by multiple diesel generators each with three days of fuel
Your 100Mbps Ethernet connection is via a 1U Ethernet patch panel with 2 active sockets providing dual, standard RJ45, Ethernet connections into our Internet switch. The connection is via structured Cat-5 cabling and Cat-5 patch cords
You get one IP address for each piece of equipment housed in your rack(s) as standard, but you can request additional addresses if required We will provide secondary DNS support for up to five domains free of charge. The benefit of having Secondary DNS servers is that if one DNS server goes off-line because of maintenance or outage, the other server will continue managing requests for your domain names (please note it will be your responsibility to register and renew your domain names).
