THUS wins Service Provider Channel Programme category at Channel Network Awards THUS recognised for its ongoing Channel Partner support THUS plc is pleased to announce that it has won the Service Provider Channel Programme' category at the Channel Network Awards for the second year in a row. THUS won the award, which recognises companies which have done the most to encourage channel partnerships and engender channel growth in the IT sector, following a submission from its partner FP Telekom. Submissions from resellers needed to illustrate programmes run by their service provider which have both helped increase business performance and improve competitiveness. Supported by evidence of its work with THUS, FP Telekom was able to demonstrate that it had increased business profitability through the support of THUS' channel strategy. FP Telekom's nomination focused on THUS' Senior Business Partners SBPs programme which it uses to manage and support around 150 smaller dealers, including Pinesoft Computers. The nomination stressed THUS' unique business model, improved product and service offering and first rate customer care, including its innovative partner support measures for training and performance. "The Service Provider Channel Programme Award recognises excellence in supporting Channel Partners deliver business solutions for their clients," commented John Chapman, Channel Network Awards organiser. "Winning this award shows that THUS not only has a well structured channel programme but also one that clearly delivers for its channel partners. The fact that the award entries are submitted by the channel also shows that their Channel Partners appreciate the extra effort that THUS puts into its channel programme." Duncan Wilkinson, head of channel sales at THUS, commented, "We take great pride in our relationships with the channel, and have always endeavoured to foster strong relationships with resellers of our products and services. Winning the Service Provider Channel Programme' category twice in as many years demonstrates that we have been successful in meeting our aims. This recognition is a huge compliment to our present strategy as well as a challenge to maintain, and even improve, our current levels of channel support". |
