Telco Global selects THUS to boost outbound sales THUS plc has been chosen by Telco Global to provide an outbound sales operation to boost its growing number of Carrier Pre-Select (CPS) customers. Telco Global chose THUS to support its new service after working together on a successful inbound calls pilot project at the end of 2003. The newly signed agreement will see THUS recruit more than 80 new sales staff to its current Glasgow operation to generate the volume of CPS customers that Telco Global are expecting to achieve. "This is a firm endorsement of our strength in providing quality contact centre services and we are delighted to extend our relationship with Telco Global through its new outbound sales operation," said Stuart Sutton, Operations Director, THUS plc. "The contract will also provide a significant jobs boost for Glasgow in the creation of 80 new jobs." Darren Madgwick, Direct Sales Development Manager at Telco Global explained: "After working with THUS on a successful inbound calls project we were convinced that THUS could help us achieve our customer growth targets through an outbound telemarketing operation." THUS was selected because of its high quality approach to sales in this increasingly competitive market place.
