THUS selected as British Gymnastics' official preferred supplier of telecoms

THUS plc, one of the UK's leading providers of voice, data, Internet and contact centre services, today announced that it has become the official telecoms supplier of the lottery funded British Gymnastics association, the governing body for the sport of gymnastics in Britain. As British Gymnastics' official telecoms supplier, THUS will provide the association with voice, Internet, hosting and e-commerce solutions, and will benefit from high profile branding opportunities at leading televised British Gymnastics events. The solution provided by THUS will significantly reduce the association's operational costs so that more money can be invested in nurturing Britain's gymnasts, as well as providing students and coaches with access to the latest e-learning facilities through an upgraded website.

By accessing the soon-to-be re-launched British Gymnastics website, hosted by THUS, students will be able to improve their technique by viewing videos of perfect performances given by Britain's leading gymnasts. In addition they will be able to get advice from coaches and fellow students by logging on to the website's chat rooms, as well as being able to view and purchase the latest merchandise and gym equipment.

THUS will provide British Gymnastics coaches, responsible for training gymnasts from beginners to members of the national team, with broadband ADSL services packages. The service provided by THUS will increase the effectiveness of a geographically diverse network of coaches by allowing them to hold online training forums for students and fellow coaches, as well as provide them with access to essential training information and databases on British Gymnastics' main server, hosted by THUS.
