Demon Internet Launches It's New E-Portal To Sell ADSL Online

Leading UK telecoms and Internet service provider THUS Plc, through its Demon Internet brand, has launched an E-Portal through which customers can purchase ADSL services online. This move is the first step by THUS to make ADSL more accessible to the SOHO and SME markets that Demon serves.

The E-Portal, which can be found at www.demon.net/adsl, enables consumers to browse the ADSL packages/services that are available from THUS, and to purchase the Demon Express Solo and Demon Express products online. The spiraling growth in the demand for broadband access and the ever-expanding list of applications available has driven demand for on-line information and ordering of these high-speed services. Demon will meet these demands partly through its new E-Portal, which provides an easy and accessible online guide to their ADSL products and services and gives the customer the option to purchase them via the Internet.

The Demon E-Portal currently gives customers the ability to browse the services offered by the Demon Express Solo, Express, Express Plus, Express Pro and Express Gold packages. The full range of ADSL packages will shortly be available to purchase online.

The E-Portal also enables the customer to check if Demon ADSL is available in their area of the country. In the event that ADSL is not available in that area people can register their interest so that Demon can contact them when the service becomes available. A dedicated help line (0800 027 0582) has also been set-up to offer advice and help with the purchase of the ADSL products offered through the E-Portal.
