THUS supports 'Anything Over the Net'

Thus provides multi-lingual Web-based helpdesk for mobile messaging service

Thus, the communications company, has won a contract to provide a Web-based helpdesk for XOIP, Europe's leading free unified messaging service.

XOIP (Anything over IP) enables its 200,000 customers to send, receive and manage email, telephone and fax messages by phone, PC or fax machine. The unified messaging company has selected Thus to help increase the speed of response to enquiries from its growing international customer base. Currently offering services in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, XOIP will be expanding its service throughout most of Europe in the coming months.

Thus will provide helpdesk support for XOIP in Dutch, English and French speaking customers and it is expected that the contract will be extended in line with XOIP's own international expansion. Based in the Netherlands, agents will initially handle approximately 200 email enquiries a day - a number which will grow as XOIP's customer base expands.

"The main reasons we chose Thus was for its flexibility and the fact that it understood our specific requirements," said Michiel van Kuyen at XOIP. "Thus was happy to commit to high service level agreements and has put evaluation procedures in place to ensure we're able to evolve the service in line with our customers' needs and feedback. This innovative approach is reflected in the partnership terms - Thus will be paid an agreed sum for each enquiry received and actioned."
